Recent news about Marshall’s streaming numbers on YouTube started a chain reaction in his circles.

First, 50 Cent and Snoop Dogg shout out to him and his success, then the Burn It Down group that works with Eminem left reading for this new year: “It’s going to a Big Shady 2023”. Sometimes, the company is getting ahead of itself and misleads eager fans (as it was with a new Rihanna collaboration that had never happened).

But the anticipation for Marshall’s comeback is thick, so people choose to believe them anyway.

Then James Larese, one of the filmmakers working with Em, reposted the same Fifty’s picture proclaiming: “Numbers don’t lie. 22’ was special but 23’ gonna be one for the books. Happy New Year to everyone. Here is to a year full of positivity/love/inspiration and of course Big Fucking Swings only”.

2022 indeed was a remarkable year for Eminem. He started it by being nominated for a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, moved to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show, released several new collabs and a sequel to this greatest hits compilation, performed at the MTV VMA, and finally, got inducted the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Maybe, 2022 was too busy for Marshall to focus on his new music. But it only makes his fans believe that Marshall will drop a new album in 2023. That’s when James Larese and Em’s marketing team will get down to it. Hopefully.
