Barack Obama opened up recently about the importance of music and rap, especially in his life and chose Eminem’s iconic hit to illustrate his point.

The 44th president of the United States wrote about how Eminem’s lyrics reminded him of what was real, and in his new promo videos, Obama chose to read exactly this quote to draw attention to his newly published work.

This did not slip by Eminem who, without excessive fuss, still found the way to show his gratitude.
Marshall reposted a tiny fragment from Obama’s video in his Instagram stories with just one but the most appropriate emoji: folded hands.

To get the stamp of approval from Obama, who is renown for having good taste in books and music without being snobbish is something that a poor kid from deprived Detroit who turned into an international superstar can appreciate.
