With this latest plaque, the track has earned more Platinum awards in New Zealand than anywhere else outside Australia and the US.
Eminem’s 2010 anthem “Not Afraid” just added another trophy to its long list of achievements. Recorded Music NZ has certified the single 4× Platinum, meaning 120,000 sales in New Zealand alone.
That gives the song more Platinum plaques in the country than anywhere else besides Australia and the US. And while Brazil awarded “Not Afraid” two Diamonds, but that’s the whole different story. Either way, the “Recovery” anthem keeps proving its global reach 15 years after release.
