While hosting Drew’s talk show, Fifty made a promise millions are going to hold him to.

50 Cent has been a guest at this show more than once, and Drew has a wonderful rapport with him. Every time on air, they would bring up Eminem as a talking point. In Drew’s absence, things turned different.

On Monday, November 14, Fifty stepped in to cover for Drew who fell ill. So she couldn’t record a video message for Em or have a box of Mom’s Spaghetti on air. However, Ross Mathews, who shared the news desk with SNL star Melissa Villaseñor, demanded to explain what was going on in the famous MTV VMA photo with Eminem, Proof, 50 Cent, and Missy Elliott.

Fifty handled the task confidently, revealing that besides happy faces all pay attention to, there is a sour face of Justin Timberlake excluded from a lively conversation between first-tier rappers.

But this is not even the most striking revelation of the episode. Fifty promised to bring Eminem to the show. Of course, there is no expiration date on this promise. But we would love to see Em chatting on live television with someone who sincerely likes him and knows how to carry a normal human conversation.

By the way, what about those video messages? Did Drew get a response from Marshall?
