There are easter eggs on the new YSL compilation album “Slime Language 2”.
Right on the opening verse of the track named “Diamonds Dancing”, Young Thug raps:
I’ve been in the trenches, the trap, to be specific
I fell in love with my bitches, then sold ’em for some riches
This money be my missus, drive me crazy, I need Ritalin
I told ’em, “I’m so slimy, I’m so shady, I admit it, yeah”
Even more, after Young Thug opens the song with this chorus solo, Travis Scott and Gunna, who both are featured on the track, add their voices to these bars.
Of course, it’s all just a wordplay without any deep meaning. But rappers choose what words to play with, and Young Thug chose Slim Shady.
