Adam Sandler says some of the funniest moments filmed for Happy Gilmore 2 didn’t make the final cut — including a full hour of pure Eminem chaos.
In a recent interview with Collider, Sandler gave fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse into Happy Gilmore 2 and revealed that a surprising amount of material did not make the final cut, including an hour’s worth of footage featuring Eminem’s comedy chops.
“Eminem was hilarious. There’s an hour version of just Eminem that makes you laugh”, Sandler said. “That was an amazing day on the set. He came to play, yeah”.
While the rapper’s scenes may not all appear in the film, Sandler suggested they can be treasured as outtakes, where they would shine on their own. No word yet on whether that footage will be released, but now fans have another reason to hope for a blooper reel.
