Justin Bieber’s surprise album storms the charts, and Eminem quietly tags along for the ride.

“YUKON” has made a strong debut at No.17 on the Billboard Hot 100 following the release of “SWAG”. It was also ranked No.3 among the top 10 biggest US Spotify debuts over the weekend.

While Eminem does not appear on the track, he is credited as a writer thanks to a simile Bieber uses in the first verse: “I can help you get a move on, like U-Haul”. The line closely echoes Em’s bar from “Untitled” (2010), and he reused a similar one in 2020 on “She Loves Me”. The reference is subtle, but it is now part of a Top 20 hit.

RIAA certification may come next, and as a credited writer, Eminem will have the option to order a plaque. However, unless someone sends it to him, chances are he will not even notice.
