“White America” marks a new milestone. It is Eminem’s 50th song as a lead artist to break through 100 million streams on Spotify.
Released on “The Eminem Show” in 2002, “White America” was underappreciated for a long time, just recently gaining more attention because of how strikingly relevant it remains.
Produced by Eminem together with Jeff Bass, the song reflects on the hypocrisy of American society and its inherent racism.
“White America” was certified gold in the US in 2018, and it is the only country that awarded certification to the song.
