MMLP2 is Marhall’s fourth studio album to reach the milestone of 3.7 billion streams on the platform.

A sequel to “The Marshall Mathers LP”, the album was released in 2013 and debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, selling more than 792,000 copies in its first week. Later, it won Eminem a record sixth Grammy Award for Best Rap Album at the 2015 Grammy Awards. The RIAA certified the album 4x Platinum in 2017 and has not updated the status since. Meanwhile, the Chartmasters estimate that MMLP2 has moved over 12.8 million equivalent album copies globally.

Lately, “The Marshall Mathers LP2” has not been the most popular album on streaming platforms. On Spotify, it gains around 1.2 million streams daily, less than “Encore” and “Music To Be Murdered By” usually gain. So. MTBMB is getting dangerously close to MMLP2 in streaming numbers and might soon overtake it as the fourth most streamed studio album on Spotify.
