Benzino about Eminem: White Kid Can’t Be a Part of Rap Culture, But He Still Gets Special Treatment from Everybody

Benzino doesn’t know when to stop. His new diss track aimed at Eminem proves the point.

The Source ex-editor has been on a journey since the Lyrical Lemonade compilation featured a short track where Eminem shot back at Benzino, who had never stopped his vendetta against Eminem. After that, Benzino declared the diss unworthy of response, then responded, then proclaimed his victory. He published a statement on his Instagram page addressing Eminem fans:

Let’s be clear, Eminem fans are the softest fans in Hip Hop. Always talking behind the Internet and will never ever do shit in person. The bottom line is I destroyed your pale face corny rap god.

Then, after that confident statement, he felt the need to drop on his Instagram page another diss, titled “Rap Elvis”. The lyrics mostly repeat the same tired points Benzino has used for years. But there are some unexpectedly heavy blows based on Em’s label performance and new grievances presented by young Detroit rappers lately.

Reminding of a conversation Icewear Vezzo started a couple of years ago, Benzino raps:

Icewear said that Em don’t be showin’ the city love
Why you ain’t got no words for him? he in your city bruh

And then, Benzino goes over the Shady Records history:

Okay, you found 50 and you put 5 Detroit niggas
Rest in piece to the best one, the rest of them sound iffy
So let’s go down your stable, Gun left your label
Benny left your label, Con left your label, Royce left your label
Joe Budden left your label, Ortiz left your label
Crooked I couldn’t save you, Yelawolf been out here floppin’
And where the hell Ca$his been at though?
Only heard from Obie Trice only twice and not a word from Stat Quo
With all them false lines that you pitched them
Shady records sound like less of a name and more like a description
A chain here, a feature there, besides that what did he do?

Now, pleased with himself, Benzino goes down Nick Cannon’s route, saying that Eminem will be cancelled if he doesn’t respond in 48 hours. We know how it ended with Cannon – with a confession about being a fan.
