Eminem flipped off the 49ers as his favourite team had to shelve the dream of reaching the Super Bowl in 2024.
Eminem has been cheering for his football team forever, yet these recent weeks really brought hope to the hearts of all Lions supporters. The team kept winning and finally hosted their first playoff game in 30 years. And they won it. And then another one against the Buccaneers. Eminem was there for the Lions every step of the road.
But now the lucky streak is over. The Detroit Lions haven’t seen an NFL Championship since 1957, 10 years before the Super Bowl even existed. And they won’t see it this year.
Eminem was there when his team lost; he got frustrated and heartbroken, like all other fans. But, like all other fans, he knows that the Super Bowl is now within reach, and they will try again next year.
