New information from insiders reveals several songs that made it to in-game radio stations.
Twitter account GTA NEWS & LEAKS shared a post from Matheus Victor, a Rockstar insider who has reliably shared information before. When translated from Spanish, his tweet reads: “Something internal was revealed to me recently, but I can’t say much. Referring to some songs from some radio stations that may be present in the next title in the Grand Theft Auto franchise.”
The source can identify four songs that GTA 6 will allegedly include on its soundtrack: “Domino Dancing” by Pet Shop Boys, “Odessa” by Caribou, “Nonsense Youth” by Santigold, and more importantly for us, “Numb” by Rihanna feat. Eminem.
The song was recorded for Rihanna’s 2012 album “Unapologetic” and contains references to their previous collaboration, “Love the Way You Lie”.
The previous GTA release brought us more than a 10-year old song. Dr. Dre recorded six new songs for GTA: The Contract, one of them, “Gospel”, featured a verse from Eminem. Of course, this leak gives only some glimpse into the game that is supposedly nearing the final stages of development. Do you think that there is a chance that Dre’s collaboration with GTA might be continued and we will hear more new music from our favourite artists?
