New visuals for the Shady Records artist from Atlanta give a subtle nod to classic Eminem imagery.

Freshly signed to Eminem’s label GRIP dropped his debut Shady video, and it seems like Slim Shady’s straight jacket inspired some of the scenes there.

Eminem famously wore it in his breakthrough video “My Name Is”, emphasising the destructive power of his alter-ego. Showing up in similar attire for his first video on the label run by Marshall, GRIP perhaps wanted to show respect for the boss and attract some luck that any rising star needs.

GRIP is certainly lucky to have the support of his label. Introducing the video, the Shady records official account posted across the social media:
