The Grammy-nominated MC is not satisfied with how Slaughterhouse music sounds now and makes his crewmate Joell Ortiz disagree.

Royse streamed some unreleased Slaughterhouse tracks on his Instagram account and was unpleasantly surprised with what he heard. His assessment was harsh:

Slaughterhouse was so vile, vulgar and violent… 🤦🏿‍♂️ I blame @joebudden 💉🐷 We should’ve finished these bro…. ☝🏿

Admittedly, while the aggressive beat of the track he commented on was tight, the lyrics were nasty. But Joell Ortiz, who always supports the idea of Slaughterhouse reunion, opposed Royce’s idea. So once again, he said that they as a group still have too much to give and have to get back to work:

Naaaaa… This shit still hit different. We gotta get back in there, finish up then get it to the people!!! 🐷 🔪 🏠

Do you think new Slaughterhouse music would still fit into the current hip hop landscape?
