Ranked third among all Spotify artist, Eminem steadily expands his dedicated following.
In April this year, when he was sitting just like now, on the third position, his daily gains were equal 48,748 users that amounted to over 440,000 new followers a week, reports Chartmasters.org.
Two months later we can see that his daily gains shot up to 58,830 additional followers. Put together they give us the expansion of 368,380 users a week.
Last month we celebrated Em’s milestone of 70 million followers on Spotify. Now it consists of 72 million. It goes without saying that Marshall is the only artist from the pre-streaming era and the only hip hop artist whose following grows that fast. It is a loud testament of how relevant and important his music is, both for steady supprters and new generations.
