In the since-deleted social media post, 50 Cent laughs off the Grammys and their irrelevance.
Fifty admitted the other week that Pop Smoke’s album that he produced has very slim chances to be recognised by the Academy. However, Fif was not able to contain his disappointment when it happened.
50 Cent posted the picture with the Best Rap Album nominations to his Instagram account and captioned with his bitter comment:
They out of touch this shit ain’t it, get the fuck outta here
Later he deleted this post. What was the reason behind this decision? The understanding that there are some genuinely good choices and entrances from the people with whom he would rather stay friends or understanding that Pop Smoke was nominated in the end, even if his nominated single “Dior” has nothing to do with Fifty?
