The producer behind “Killshot” and “Lucky You” openly answered questions about working with Eminem and their future collaborations.

Illa’s open Instagram Q&A was unavoidably flooded by questions about his work with Marshall. Illa Da Producer is the one who brought to “Kamikaze” “The Ringer”, “Normal” and “Good Guy”, created beats for “Offended” and Marshall’s joint with Joyner Lucas “Lucky You”, and, of course, made that murderous “Killshot”.

So naturally, a lot of questions were just well-deserved praise to Illa’s talent. However, there were some interesting questions that provoked some exciting answers. Answering to the question about releasing more new tunes with Eminem, Illa was quite optimistic with his:

Soon. I hope.

It certainly means that they already have something in store. But, of course, Illa cannot possibly know when Marshall is ready to let new music out in the world.

The producer was able to handle quite a challenging question:

Q: What’s your best beat used by Eminem in your opinion?
A: Lucky You, Good Guy, Killshot. 3 way tie.

Illa recalls how it was to be recognised as a collaborator by Eminem:

Q: How did it feel to produce for Marshall?
A: Incredible! It let me know my sound is OFFICIAL. Since the GOAT fucks with my music.

But the most moving was probably the bit about Illa’s favourite artist. For him, it is Marshall and not only because of his music taste but because of the impact Em has left on Illa’s life:

Q: Who is your favorite artist to work with? And why?
A: Eminem. He changed my life and I can provide for my family.
