XXL presented the list of records they expect to drop by the end of this year. It is a short list of seven names that starts from Kanye and includes some titles that nobody is interested in.
However, there is another name that is mentioned in the very first comment and gets repeated multiple times all the way deep into that thread: Griselda. Griselda releases their Shady Records debut this Friday.
The Twitter audience is stunned that one of the most important releases of this year got shoved into some non-committal “and more”. Still, the poor taste in hip hop of XXL editorial staff or their deliberate ignorance of everything coming from Shady Records would not be worth mentioning. But Westside Gunn himself decided to tell them off royally.
