The week after the release of successful Griselda debut on Shady Records, Westside Gunn revealed that he is planning to retire from hip-hop in 2021.

Before that, though, he will release a collaboration with Madlib. Reacting to news about their collaboration that appeared in media, Westside Gunn posted:
