A man who invaded Eminem’s home this spring will face the trial next April, almost a year after the incident.
The judge who made the decision explained his choice by the hardships of the pandemic, Detroit Free Press reports: “I don’t believe we’re going to have trials with jurors until the vaccine is produced, and that’s a ways down the road, I think”.
Matthew Hughes, who was detained by the security at Marshall’s premises in April this year, charged with first-degree home invasion and malicious destruction of property. Throughout the hearings, he stayed silent and pleaded non-guilty via his lawyer.
