Eminem’s breakout album is back on the UK Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums Chart, landing at No.32 this week, ahead of his own greatest hits compilation.

First released in 1999, the album peaked at No.1 and has now spent a total of 398 weeks on the chart.

Even more impressively, it currently ranks higher than “Curtain Call: The Hits”, which sits at No.36 on its 916th charting week. The two albums represent different eras of Em’s career, but both continue to be loved by UK audiences.

With “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)” drawing inspiration from Eminem/Slim Shady duality, fans seem to be revisiting the origin story of the Slim Shady persona, and the album that started it all still holds up.
