Singer/songwriter behind one of the most known Eminem’s hits “Love The Way You Lie” that was released 10 years ago on “Recovery” talks about how the song came to life.
In a dynamic TikTok video shared also on her Instagram stories, she recalls how 10 years ago, when she was totally broke and worked from a cabin in the woods, she sent a hook to producer Alex da Kid. What was his response? “I love the concept and the song title. The melody can be stronger though”.
Skylar then pulled out the original recording with that supposedly weak melody and it sounds absolutely the way you know it. It is exactly what we hear on the album.
