Marshall’s 10th studio album is his sixth to earn the milestone of 2.8 billion streams on the platform.
Em dropped “Kamikaze” as a surprise release on the last summer day in 2018. Having liberated himself from the industry rules and public expectations, Marshall was making music the way he always liked it: fearless, precise and honest.
The love the album has won proves that Em was right to take this leap of faith. The RIAA marked its commercial success with a Platinum certificate in December of the same year.
