Cole Bennett’s hints, teasers, and mind games lead Eminem fans to believe that Marshall might release some new music through Cole’s company Lyrical Lemonade.

It is not going to happen, they understood after hearing more from the upcoming single. However, the single cover inspires them to believe that there still might be more to it.

To recap, Cole Bennett’s directorial debut “whyrush?” ended with the opening line from “Role Model” played in reverse. When msuic fans correctly identified the song and the artist, Cole started posting hints about something bif to come next. The slowed down Role Model” beat played in Lyrical Lemonade video teaser, driving fans up the wall.

They waited with bated breath, but the resolution was a little bit disappointing for some. The advertised new Lyrical Lemonade single appeared to be a Juice WRLD x Cordae joint laid over the Role Model beat. Cordae even posted a snippet from the candid video of them both, sliding over this beat in a makeshift studio.

In normal circumstance it would be a treasure to see two bright young rappers with a strong focus on lyricism reimagining one of Eminem’s underrated songs. But when the hopes have been stoked high, people feel let down.

However, the most hopeful are now on the trail to uncover what the cartoonish characters of “Paul Rosenberg” and “Eminem” on the single cover might mean. Meanwhile, Paul Rosenberg retweets Lyrical Lemonade’s message, using a single emoji of a screaming cat to contribute to this conversation.

Anyway, all questions should be answered in two days, on Friday, June 23, when the single drops.
