James Larese gave a shout-out to Eminem and accidentally (or not) put into words what we all expected: Marshall’s new greatest hits compilation is on its way.

James has directed over 300 music videos working with some of the top artists in the world including Eminem, The Weeknd, Kanye West and Megan Thee Stallion, while also working with major networks such as Disney, MTV, ESPN and HBO and brands such as Doritos, AT&T, ACTIVISION and Beats by Dre.

However, his most recent project, visuals for Snoop Dogg’s collaboration with Eminem, “From The D 2 The LBC”, has a special place in his heart, admits James in his latest Instagram post:

Since I was 6 yrs old I have been obsessed with cartoons and comics. As a director I have always tried to incorporate techniques into my work but it was always just aight, never to the level I saw in my head…
This video finally got it right and I only say that because I finally had the team to pull it off… and your team is everything. @londonalley & @nathanloveofficial I am forever grateful to the support and talent on this.
Please watch the end credits for a detailed list of the insane talent that had my back to bring this chaos in my head to fruition.
Forever grateful and I hope this video makes you smile 🙏🏻🎬🎥❤️

That’s a welcome sentiment. However, this is an edited version of the post. The last paragraph is amiss, and it is the one where James gave a clear indication of what recent Curtain Call 2 hints referred to:

Curtain Call 2 is a special album to me personally because it’s not only Em’s second greatest hits but also represents when I first started working with him & Shady. My first video for Em was ‘CRACK A BOTTLE” (Em, Dre and 50) in 2009 and have been blessed to have continued riding with them till today.

Of course, it would be unlikely to have anything else but a greatest hits compilation titled “Curtain Call 2”, so nobody was surprised to see James calling a spade a spade. But it looks like it is too early to talk about it out loud yet. What would be your predictions for a release date?
