A new logo and new footage update the collection of possible signs that Eminem is up to something.

A video promoting the Eminem catalogue has been circulating on Instagram for weeks now. It was timed to warm the audience up before the Super Bowl Halftime Show and keep it engaged. However, recently the promo got some new amendments.

Namely, a new Eminem logo and a still that fans cannot identify.

Since the MTBMB release, Em has been using a logo with a knife incorporated in his signature inverted E.

The updated promo shows a new Eminem logo placed across a world globe.

The stylised font and background bring to mind a cover of D12’s classic album.

The still of a hooded figure standing at the door reminded fans about a picture Jeremy Deputat took at a Super Bowl rehearsal.

There are some similarities like a door, an off-centre placing of the main figure and a car. But all these objects, while present, are at the same time very different – it’s not the same door, not the same car, not the same setting.

But all this nitpicking does not deny the main thing – there is the new logo and new footage. And the new logo usually means the beginning of a new era. Are we ready for this?
