The video for Eminem’s latest single gets a seal of approval from a legendary source: the family of Adam West, the OG Batman himself.

Adam West portrayed Batman in the 1960s ABC series of the same name and a 1966 feature film. He and Burt Ward, playing Robin, were the inspiration for the “Without Me” video. The “Houdini” video now features Eminem channelling his inner Robin again, just like he did in the iconic “Without Me”. This throwback clearly resonated with West’s daughter, Nina Tooley.

Nina spoke to TMZ, revealing her dad would have absolutely loved the video. She sees it as a tribute to the enduring brilliance of the classic Batman series and her father’s unforgettable portrayal of the Caped Crusader.

Nina’s reaction to the video was particularly heartwarming. As she watched, she could almost hear her dad’s signature chuckle when Shady attempts (and fails) to scale a building with a Bat Rope – a scene reminiscent of West and his co-star Burt Ward in the show. This personal connection to the video makes it even more special.

This shoutout from the West family adds another layer of coolness to the “Houdini” video. It’s not just a catchy song; it’s a trip down memory lane that even a superhero legend would appreciate.
