Eminem Tops YouTube Chart in Canada. Canadians watched Eminem on YouTube more than any other artist in 2021.
Marshall remains an undeniable streaming leader on YouTube when we talk about hip hop as a genre. However, there are countries where his popularity is on par with the hottest pop acts, Canada being the most loyal.
According to the Chartmasters’ data, Em stayed at No.1 that he held last year. He shows 150 million streams gained in Canada, more even than their home legend, The Weeknd.
However, in the UK, Em had to leave No.1 to Ed Sheeran, who released a new album this year. 229 million streams secured Marshall No.2 on the chart.
A similar situation is in Australia, only the gap between him and Sheeran is no more than 200,000 views.
To be able to gain these numbers without adding anything to his discography shows both the longevity of Eminem’s catalogue and his never-ending potential to attract new listeners.
