It is a tradition for Eminem now to share his new sobriety coin on social media. This year became the 12th since Marshall has been staying away from drugs that nearly ended him.

Interestingly, this year Marshall was a little bit too late to post it so fans, who launched a “Recovery” streaming party to celebrate this day, started getting worried. So when Mr. Porter took to Twitter to send his greeting to Em, they used this chance to remind about the ritual:

Whether Mr. Porter did it or not, three hours later the photo was up. The chance to see Marshall going clean for 12 years is a great deal for many of his fans who also abstain from substances. Eminem, as well as many of his friends and colleagues including Royce da 5’9”, Mr. Porter, Kxng Crooked, 50 Cent and more, shows to the fans that it is possible to find strength and creativity in sobriety, helps them not to be afraid.
