It’s all started with a brief mention on “Premonition”, the intro to the latest Eminem’s “Music To Be Murdered By”.

Fans keep on pulling me one way
Haters pull me in another
Got more hooks in me than Swae Lee

That was a clear acknowledgement of Swae Lee’s talent. A young rapper is a brilliant songwriter, and he is known for his melodic hooks even more than for his high-scale collaborations with artists across all genres. He worked with Drake, Madonna, Ellie Goulding, Diplo, Travis Scott and more. He is also smart enough to appreciate a nod from Eminem.

Soon after “Music To Be Murdered By” was released he tweeted not without pride:

I have a lot of hooks 🎣

And then four hours later:

Eminem is a Legend

That would be the end of it but suddenly Royce appeared to be so enthusiastic about this interaction that he decided to push for the collaboration of these artists. On his Instagram account, he posted a picture of them both with that respectful Lee’s tweet. Royce made his point clear with a caption:

Let’s speak this collaboration into existence. 🗣
