Pusha T is topping charts right now, but it doesn’t blind him. His eyes are on the ball, and he has stellar examples of how to handle fame without losing integrity.
King Push appeared on The Morning Hustle Show the other day and faced a question about the beefs other people tried to rile him in. Pusha admitted that he had seen speculations about a beefing pair he did not want to be part of:
I saw just recently on Twitter people saying myself and Eminem. I’m like, bro! It was a misinterpretation of something I don’t even remember. Something I said or whatever. But you know, people decode, and they have their own thing. And I was like, nah, man! Em is somebody that I respect. He’s one of them people that I really like what he does because, after all of his success, I can still find Lyricist Lounge Eminem. That’s a goal for me, personally.
Here Pusha T shows some deep knowledge of hip hop history. Eminem only took part in a Lyricist Lounge showcase once, but it was epic and went down in history as one of his finest performances. Fat Joe remembers it as an event that has forever changed his perception of Marshall.
