Eminem is officially dropping a new album this year, and the news comes straight from the Good Doctor himself, Dr. Dre.
Dre revealed this exciting news during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, sending shockwaves through the audience (and the internet) with the unexpected announcement.
It’s been four years since Eminem’s last studio album, “Music To Be Murdered By”, left us wanting more. But according to Dr. Dre, that wait is finally over. Apparently, Em even gave Dre the green light to break the news live on air, much to the delight of the cheering crowd.
Eminem is working on his own album, which is coming out this year. I actually talked to him, and he said it was okay for me to make that announcement right here on this show.
Dr. Dre himself is even involved in the project, hinting at some fire collaborations brewing:
The album is coming out, I’ve got songs on it, and it’s fire. I’m actually going to hear the entire album for the first time tomorrow. He holds his music close to his chest, so I have not heard everything. I have not even heard everything complete that I’ve done, but I’m gonna hear it, and he’s putting out an album this year. There are things on there that I have to mix that I’ve done, but I’ve got a chance to hear the album in its entirety.
Eminem is known for being secretive about his work, so the fact that Dre hasn’t heard the whole album yet adds another layer of hype. But one thing is certain: a new Eminem is coming, and 2024 is about to get much more explosive.
