Detroit locals learned about a new Eminem project from a TV commercial.

A short video with a deliberately vintage flavour shows Marshall and some menu items that are already familiar to those who made it to Mom’s Spaghetti pop-up in 2017: spaghetti — with or without meatballs, and a “s’ghetti sandwich”.

The voice mail available by a phone number in the ad provides more detail, including the opening date – September 29, and the address – 2131 Woodward Ave. in Detroit.

Alongside the diner, “The Trailer” will work on the premises, described as “a store for Stans” in the advert. It looks like Eminem is opening a physical merchandise shop in Detroit as well.

The Detroit News informs that Mom’s Spaghetti is produced in a partnership with Metro Detroit restaurant group Union Joints, which also teamed with Em for the previous Mom’s Spaghetti pop-ups.

The stylistically elaborate advertising campaign immediately reminded many fans about a stunt Eminem pulled with the “Revival” promo. The close proximity of the opening date to October 1, which is rumoured to be the day of Em’s next surprise drop, is another reason why internet detectives feel that their anticipation is justified.

The Shady team is busy, this fact is impossible to deny.
