It’s been an unstoppable creative process, with many gems left over.
To our mutual happiness, the rumours about the album drop and its cover art were proved right. As it usually happens, designers create additional artworks during the creative process, some of them fit better, some worse. However, with the M2BMB covers, both succeed in portraying the blood-curdling vibe of the album.
Eminem and his team might think the same. Probably for that reason, the official cover art is backed up by the second artwork. As the shop.eminem.com site tells us, “This version of cover art is exclusive to the official Eminem store”. So, if you are fascinated by the second art the way we are, you can hit that link to the site and pre-order a physical copy of the release.
Designer Mike Saputo who worked on MTBMB Side A, has also announced a UK exclusive “noir” album art. The special finishing is going to alter the whole look of the cover, Mike explained:
For all you UK peeps, you can get this UK exclusive “noir” version. For the physical packaging, this one has got a spot varnish over the typography and blood. These should look pretty slick in the end. You can get them on Eminem.com
