The Detroit MC released a new solo album recorded in the pandemic – with all the limitations of the circumstances and newly found freedoms.

Following up his previous releases – “Bando Theory” and “My Brothers Keeper” (with Swifty McVay) – this album shows up the development and evolution of one of the most consistent rappers of the generation that gave Slim Shady a start.

“Alpha Underdog” focuses entirely on the craft of its creator, purposely not letting a single feature in. It also reflects a “new normal” of the pandemic where direct contacts between people are minimised.

Kuniva explained on his Twitter account:

I did this entire album remotely. Meaning my engineer and I FaceTimed from separate studios due to this COVID thing and made it happen by him remotely controlling everything in my studio. Crazy right?
