Marshall’s latest track, “Houdini”, has met the first significant streaming milestone of 100 million streams on Spotify in just 12 days.
Now, “Houdini” is Eminem’s fastest song ever to reach this level of popularity. Moreover, it also snagged the second-fastest hip hop song title to hit 100 million streams, trailing only behind Kendrick Lamar’s epic diss “Not Like Us”, which did it in a mind-blowing nine days.
Eminem’s ability to drop tracks that fans can’t get enough of is on full display here. “Houdini” is clearly a hit, and with numbers like these, it’s safe to say Shady’s back with a vengeance. Can you imagine what this new album, “The Death of Slim Shady”, will unleash on the world in several weeks?
