Mike Tyson Hotboxing’ podacst turned out to be an eye-opening conversation. With all the success and the experince behind their backs, two legends couldn’t but let us peek at the light of wisdom.
Closer to the end of the talk, Myke suddenly asked how Eminem’s daughter is doing. Marshall told us that Haley has a boyfriend, no kids yet, and she has graduated from the college lately, 3.9 points. Here’s what Em also had to answer when asked about his feelings on time’s pace:
Em: “Yeah, it definitely is crazy, I have a niece that I have helped raise to, that’s kind of like a daughter, pretty much like a daughter to me, and she is 26. And then I have a younger one that’s 17 now, so… When I think about my accomplishments that’s probably the thing I’m the most proud of, you know, is that is being able to raise kids.”
Mike: “You know, most guys like us, successful and stuff, that suppose we have kids, are fucked up. You know, they never had the life that we, [they] hadn’t ever struggled, they never know struggle. Without struggle there’s no progress. And that’s why they don’t put grass for their own struggle, yeah.”
Em: “Yeah, it’s definitely important to keep your kids grounded when there’s situations like we have right.”
