Earlier this year Eminem’s publishing company “Eight Mile Style” filed a lawsuit against Spotify seeking up to $36 million in damages. The publishers accused Spotify of streaming over 250 Eminem’s songs without an appropriate licence and without proper payments.

Now Spotify moved to dismiss the case. The company argues that the lawsuit was brought in the wrong court. They deny the allegations “and will show at the appropriate time why Plaintiffs’ claims are meritless,” as was stated in the newly filed documents.
