Rap producer from South Florida Ronny J has built his following on SoundCloud and worked on two tracks for Eminem’s “Kamikaze” also offering beats for MGK.

And not just any tracks but precisely Eminem’s “Not Alike” and MGK’s “Rap Devil” where MGK was aiming at dissing Em. Earlier this year Ronny J talked (https://youtu.be/U-W3zbn7x7I?t=1715) about how his position as a contributor is unique in this particular layout:

It’s so legendary and people need to know that there is no other producer in history who has ever done that before, at least, on that level. Producing two diss tracks towards each other. Incredible. No one else did it.

People know it but keep wondering how it happened. Apparently, it started from Ronny’s manager’s request to send some beats to Eminem who was working on his album at that time:

I sent beats [and] a few days later, he was like, “Alright, Em wants these two.” A month later, two months later, he’s like, “Alright, it’s going on Em’s album.”

Machine Gun Kelly was brought to the equation through a friend, who invited MGK to Ronny’s studio:

I played some beats or whatever, and he took them. He was like, “Yo, I got to go to my studio right now. I’m about to work right now.” One of them just happened to be “Rap Devil” and he rapped on it immediately. He sent it to me, I thought it was crazy. He was super excited like, “Yo, we’re about to go crazy with this.”

And crazy he went. Both Eminem and MGK, however, hold nothing against Ronny himself. Even more, Ronny J keeps sending beats to Eminem and maybe the results of their work will be released in the foreseeable future.

I’m the only producer in history to be on both sides of the beef, to produce both diss tracks. I don’t think Eminem cares if I made beats for MGK or not. I’m still sending beats for Em, so I think he just wants to make good music.
