New Drake’s release might be doing well in charts but its streaming numbers have not reached the level of Eminem’s recent album “Music To Be Murdered By”.
On its first day on Spotify on January 17, 2020 “Music To Be Murdered By”, dropped without any warning, gained 50.5 million streams. Drake’s mixtape “Dark Lane Demo Tapes” that came on the tail of his TikTok success got 45.9 million Spotify streams on its debut day.
Both albums are in Top 5 of the most successful streaming debuts this year but there are albums with even bigger numbers:
