Mr. Porter Revises D12 Origins

The Detroit Dirty Dozen opens pre-orders for a 4-disc box set of rare projects. They include “The Underground EP” (1996), “Return of the Dozen Vol. 1” (2008), “Return of the Dozen Vol. 2” (2011), and “The Devil’s Night Mixtape: Reloaded” (2015).

The box-set is set to release on October 31, and you can place an order on the band’s website:

This collection of mixtapes represents D12 as a polyphonic, multicentered band. The three latest releases from the post-Eminem era echo their impressive debut from 1996, when Eminem, while present on the record, is still pre-fame and does not pay as much attention as he did during their golden era. “The Underground EP” boasts an absolutely legendary lineup: Eminem, Proof, Bizarre, Mr. Porter, Bugz, Kuniva, DJ Head and Eye Kyu.

Recorded in 1996, the EP was never officially released and only circulated as a bootleg. This is the first chance to buy the project from the source and extend your collection with a rare yet essential piece of hip hop history.

“The Underground EP” tracklist:

1. 6 Reasons
2. Art Of War
3. Derelict Theme
4. Chance to Advance
5. Activity as Phuctivity
6. Filthy
7. Fuck Battlin
8. Cock and Squeeze
9. Bring Our Boys
10. Bad News by Da Brigade
11. Take the Whole World With Me by Outsidaz (Ft. Bizarre, Eminem & Pacewon)
