Eminem released his greatest hits compilation in 2005. Marshall was five years in his recording career and the compilation contained 24 tracks, three of them – absolutely new.

The album sold 440,000 copies in its first week and reached platinum status in three weeks. At the moment the record holds 7xPlatinum certification from RIAA.

“Curtain Call: The Hits” also holds a record for the longest-charting hip hop album. It is on the Billboard 200 right now, at No. 69, spending its 504th week on the chart.
