Well, it is not so secret, as Marshall has been using it on stage and on wax for years now, but the Public Enemy frontman puts it into words brilliantly.

Chuck D thinks that Em’s secret is in being harder on himself than anybody else. He posted on ex-Twitter recently:

The thing that got me about @Eminem was that he was better crashing on himself than those coming at him. Battle rapwise that completely took the air outta the match like a comedian killing himself on stage.

Most probably, this remark was inspired by Eminem’s latest verse on “Realest”, the inaugural Shady Records single that newest Shady Records signee Ez Mil dropped the previous Friday.
