Marshall’s most streamed album, “The Eminem Show”, has met a new significant milestone on the platform.
Released in 2002, nine days before the set date, the album debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 and spent six weeks there. Because of an untimely drop, only its second week in the US was registered as a full week of sales, in which over 1.3 million copies were sold. The RIAA certified it 12x Platinum in March 2002.
The astonishing commercial success of the album continued and translated into streaming numbers.
“The Eminem Show” is the most streamed album released in the 2000s, one of the Top 10 most streamed hip hop albums, and it is ranked at No.50 among the records of all genres on Spotify. “The Eminem Show” is Marshall’s most streamed album in total numbers and daily streams. It has been gaining well over 4 million streams a day lately. This is how the album hit a new streaming milestone just four months after it celebrated 6 billion streams received on Spotify.
