Amidst the conversation of police brutality that disproportionally affects black people, Snoop Dogg made a silent but powerful statement.

He posted mugshots of four iconic rappers whose names define the genre: 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G., 50 Cent and, obviously, his own.

He did not elaborate on this statement at all, captioning it with a self-evident “Mug shots 🤜🏾”. Implications, however, are rather clear. You can hardly find a black person who does not have a story to share about their run-ins with police and rappers have been talking about it for years.
