More than a decade later, “Recovery” is still racking up huge numbers, becoming Eminem’s third album to cross 5 billion streams on the streaming platfrom.
Eminem’s “Recovery” has officially hit 5 billion streams on Spotify, marking yet another impressive milestone in his legendary career. Released in 2010, the album was a defining moment in Marshall’s discography, featuring hits like “Not Afraid”, “Love The Way You Lie”, and “No Love”. Over a decade later, fans are still streaming it non-stop. Just the previous day, the album pulled over 1.6 million new plays.
This makes “Recovery” the third Eminem album to reach this mark, joining “The Eminem Show” (8.16 billion) and “The Marshall Mathers LP” (5.13 billion). With “Music To Be Murdered By” (4.21 billion) and “The Marshall Mathers LP 2” (4.17 billion) in the Top 5 of Em’s most streamed studio projects, there is no doubt that Eminem’s catalogue remains one of the strongest in hip hop.
Numbers do not lie — his music continues to respond to the challenges and troubles of the modern world. “Recovery” was a turning point in Marshall’s career, and it is still making an impact on new generations of listeners.
