Growing in influence rapper Young M.A. featured on Eminem’s “Unaccomodating” launched her radio show “Me Always” and invited Eminem to be her first guest.

Their short conversation was full of mutual respect and appreciation and was focused mostly on rap as a craft, not a battle of egos.

From the very beginning, Marshall acted as a humble while confident artist who accepted the gratitude and praise from Young M.A. for allowing her to be part of his recent project – just to immediately hit her back with the same sentiment:

Thank you for doing it too. Your EP is crazy!

M.A. was flattered and not for the first time. She had heard Em’s interview with KXNG Crooked where Marshall paid respect to her penmanship and now he confirmed it personally:

Yo, on the new one you’ve got so many lines, I can’t even! I’m on my third listen through and I’m still catching, like, “Oh!”. I was telling KXNG Crook this in the interview, there’s an art to this, to what we do. It’s like when you get your punch lines, how, however your writing process is – you can always tell somebody who has studied the game, who is a student of it. You know, I told you this the first time we talked, you make your punchlines like there’s no setup or like your setups don’t sound like setups, they sound like punchline after punchline after punchline. That requires a lot of skill and a lot of thought. Your dedication to the craft is unbelievable.
Your Flex freestyle! You were just talking and killing it. I was like, “God damn!”. I am a fan, I’m a stay fan.

It had to be incredible to receive this kind of appreciation from a Rap God himself. And Young M.A. certainly felt the weight of responsibilities that comes with this type of recognition. She confirmed that she is in for a long game and that she is indeed the student of the craft, watching, observing and studying Shady movement, taking on board what Eminem has brought to the table.
