Eminem has never shied away from praising Naughty By Nature Mc as one of his main influences. And Treach, in his turn, is always ready to bid his respect to Marshall.
During his recent livestream with Treach, Fat Joe asked him about this Eminem’s attitude and Treach lit up:
That’s my light-skinned twin!
But Joe wanted a more elaborate answer and proceeded with:
Fat Joe: He says you’re his favourite rapper. What does that feel like when you got somebody so lyrical, a GOAT like Eminem saying you’re his favourite rapper?
Treach: It makes me feel like I did my job. Anybody that I admire all the fans and the millions of records and tours worldwide show that we did something. So when you hear from that calibre, it just humbles you. We kick it back and forth, Eminem for his birthday, my birthday we be kicking in it… It’s mutual respect. He’s one of the dopest of all times, hands down. And it’s showing how the culture is so great, it expands, it brings everybody together, all races. Hip hop brings everybody together. Different art forms of all, whether it’s dance, hip hop graffiti… It’s all types of men, it’s a lovely thing. So that’s my bro, I love Em. And it’s like me, anytime you ask me about hip hop I can’t go without naming all those who came before me because I’m a product of all of them together.
