Eminem and Rihanna’s collaborative hit, “The Monster”, has officially reached triple platinum status in the UK, adding another trophy to Em’s overflowing case.

This certification, awarded by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), signifies that “The Monster” has surpassed 1.8 million units sold, including streams and downloads.

Released in 2013 as the fourth single from Eminem’s critically acclaimed album, “The Marshall Mathers LP 2”, “The Monster” quickly became a global phenomenon. The song’s dark and introspective lyrics, coupled with Rihanna’s hauntingly beautiful vocals, resonated with fans worldwide.

This isn’t the first time Em and Rihanna have dominated the charts together. “The Monster marks their fourth collaboration, following tracks like “Love the Way You Lie” and its sequel, and “Numb.” Each song has been a certified hit, solidifying their place as one of music’s most successful duos.

The news of the song’s third Platinum certification came on the day when the song reached 990 million streams on Spotify. “The Monster” is on its way to becoming Marshall’s tenth song to reach 1 billion streams on the platform. It will not take long with roughly half a million daily streams the track gains.
