Everybody knows that Eminem admires The D.O.C, but it has to be said louder that the West coast lyricist also feels strongly about Marshall.
In a new video of his brand new channel, The D.O.C. got a chance to listen to “Use This Gospel” (Remix), released on DJ Khaled’s recent album. For the first time, D.O.C. could sit down and listen closely to Em’s verse. You can tell just by the look of him how attentive and experienced the legendary artist is and how deeply he understands what Eminem offers on this track.
D.O.C’s comment was short but sincere and insightful:
I think Em is one of the greatest—no question about that. Em is in my [Top] 3. And all of this comes from somebody. I can hear me in him. He’s a true fucking artist, one of those guys.
